Paradise Found by John S. Yum
When I'm with you, my mind enters into a pleasant trance.
Your smile is like a soft ocean current, that gently drifts me away on a heavenly galleon.
As the magestic sun wanes behind the sparkling horizon, the twilight sky morphs into a star-filled firmament. You stand by the shore gazing at me and inviting me over. Your eyes are so tender, Your movement is so graceful. The moment we embrace, our hearts glow with fervor.
Lying on our backs on the sandy shore, head to head, hand in hand; we look up to see that the stars are winking at us. The bay breeze caresses our bodies as our lips greet each other in harmony. Oh! How I wish this divine oblivion would never end. But all illusory journeys come to an unexpected demise, due to the cries of reality. Nevertheless, I patiently reside in my world; only to wait for the next time I see you, so that we can be reunited once again... on that voyage to our own secluded paradise.

RAIN ©
by Nick Burman
Outside the rain is falling,
And it's just another day.
One with evenings darkening.
A day that's dark and gray.
I stand by my window gazing.
I hear the rain hissing down.
Swirling around the building
Like a dancer's silken gown.
The color tells me how I feel.
Like a lonely lost gray kitten.
Nothing seems to be quite real,
Like a story never written.
