Michael lives in Texas with his high school sweetheart, Sharon and their daughter, Shawn. Mike is a social worker and motivational speaker. Betty King is the wife of Bill; they have been married for 45 years. They have four grown children and nine grandchildren. Betty has lived with MS for 36 years. She continues to find joy in living and writing. Her faith and humor are woven into her tapestries. She says some are easier to write than others; some take only a pen and paper or typewriter keys, others require a piece of the soul.
She has publishing credits in a number of mediums and is hoping to have her own book published. Betty has stories, God, How Can You Use Me In The Condition I'm In, God's Glue, and Life In Reverse in the archives.

| February 2002 - Maria Harden Maria Harden lives and writes in Manitoba, Canada. She has been married to Neil for 24 years, has a grown son, and an adorable grandson who is the inspiration for many a story. When not writing, she enjoys learning to play the piano. Maria's award-winning story was a two part one, "The Christmas Child," followed by the sequel, "Her Mother's Wish." | January 2002 - Marsha Jordan Marsha is the brilliance behind HugsandHope, dedicated to helping sick kids! She is Grandma to Cobi (the cutie on her lap) and lives in the northwoods of Wisconsin with her husband of 26 years. She has one grown son and a toy poodle named King Louie who rules the household with an iron paw. Marsha is grateful to God that He has used her to help sick children all over the world and that He has put so many wonderful people into her life. Author of The Quilt & Paper Dolls, Patsy also makes dolls whose head and hands are constructed from apples which she carves and dries. She has exhibited and demonstrated her craft at the Museum of Appalachia in Norris, TN as well as the Knoxville (TN) Museum of Art. She is a participating member of the Purely Appalachia Craft Empowerment Program of Southwest Virginia.
