The Candy Cane

Blue, pink, green, red and white are only some of the colors on a candy cane.  A candy cane is a type of candy that has many different colors.  The question isn't what flavor I want, it's am I ready for that flavor?

Before I opened the wrapper, it felt rough.  When I opened it, the candy cane felt smooth but got sticky after I touched it a lot.  It looked like a fishing hook waiting to be baited.  After I tasted it, the candy cane was really sticky and wet.  First it was red and white, next it was white.

When I took my first lick, it was like I was eating first winter's snow!  After awhile, the tip turned very pointy.  At first, it was a sphere shape. As I kept sucking, it got smaller and smaller.  It was delicious, though.

When I was finishing my candy cane, it was the size of a sewing needle.  It was also straight instead of curved.  Instead of stripes, I just saw white. The smell left after awhile; the flavor stayed until the end.

I love candy canes.  They're just so delicious!  Candy canes, I think, are the best treats in the world.  Next time, when you go to the store, pick up a box of candy canes.  When you take your first bite, BAM!, you'll want another!
